Road Trip - Day 1

Hey guys! Mrs. Landry and I are driving from South Carolina to Seattle, WA. That's very, super, really far! It's 3,000 miles - that's about the same distance as Hawaii to California.

We started driving yesterday, and it took us 3.5 hours to get to our first location. We went from Mrs. Landry's parents' house in South Carolina to a little city called Asheville, in North Carolina. It was a long drive, but it wasn't too bad. We listened to a lot of different things on the radio, and talked a lot.

When we got to Asheville, we went to a really nice hotel where we swam in the pools for a while. Then we went out to dinner. We ate some fried green tomatoes (don't say eww until you try them!), and I had a meal with shrimp and scallops. For dessert, Mrs. Landry got some ice cream from Marble Slab. She even gave me a couple of bites!

Check out the photos below. And for those of you who haven't written to tell me what you've been doing this summer, you'd better send me an email!
